Chief Strategy Officer

About the role

The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) will steer the organization’s long‑term strategic planning and execution. Reporting to the executive team, the CSO translates market insights into actionable growth initiatives and ensures alignment with the company’s vision and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement overarching strategic plans aligned with the long‑term vision and operational capabilities.
• Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and anticipate industry trends.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure organizational alignment with strategic objectives and foster a unified approach to growth.
• Lead high‑level strategy workshops and brainstorming sessions with key stakeholders, integrating diverse perspectives into initiatives.
• Design and execute stakeholder engagement strategies to facilitate smooth implementation of strategic projects across the organization.
• Monitor and measure the success of strategic initiatives using defined KPIs, making data‑driven adjustments as necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic roles within a comparable industry.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through strategic initiatives and change management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to executive audiences.
• Experience building and sustaining strategic partnerships and alliances.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and business case development.
• Ability to design risk‑management frameworks and mitigate potential threats.
• Familiarity with emerging technological trends relevant to the industry.
