Deployment Specialist (Software Release)

About the role

The Deployment Specialist will coordinate and execute software releases, ensuring smooth delivery to production environments while minimizing operational risk. This role works closely with development, QA, infrastructure and operations teams to keep the release pipeline efficient and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan, schedule and execute software deployments.
• Develop, maintain and improve deployment scripts, automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor deployment activities, verify successful completion and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Participate in post‑deployment validation, performance testing and incident management.
• Document release notes, deployment procedures and maintain accurate records for audit compliance.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend enhancements to release processes and tooling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in software deployment, release management or a similar role.
