Executive Director – Accounting, Planning & Financial Control

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished finance executive to lead accounting, planning and financial control across a multi‑entity organisation in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the CFO, you will shape financial strategy, ensure governance and drive performance for four subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial control and tax functions across multiple legal entities.
• Drive corporate planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure accurate IFRS financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Strengthen governance, internal controls and financial risk management.
• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision‑making.
• Lead finance transformation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Build, mentor and develop high‑performing finance leadership teams.
• Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, banking partners and external advisers.
• Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to Executive Committees and Boards.

Required profile

• Executive‑level experience as Executive Director, Divisional CFO, Group CFO or Group Financial Controller.
• Background in a listed company or similarly complex multinational organisation.
• Responsibility for multiple legal entities or subsidiaries.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) – MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
