Fit-Out Manager – Commercial Mall Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Fit-Out Manager to lead tenant fit‑out activities for commercial spaces within a mall or mixed‑use development. You will ensure all fit‑out works meet mall standards, design approvals, safety requirements and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end tenant fit‑out process from design submission to final handover and store opening.
• Review tenant proposals, drawings and technical submissions for compliance with mall standards and authority requirements.
• Coordinate timelines, requirements and approvals with tenants, consultants, contractors and internal departments.
• Monitor progress, conduct site inspections and ensure works follow approved designs, specifications and HSE standards.
• Identify risks or delays in fit‑out schedules and take corrective actions to protect trading commencement dates.
• Obtain all necessary permits, approvals and completion certificates before unit opening.
• Oversee handover and takeover procedures, manage defects and snags, and support leasing teams with technical input.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare regular progress reports and ensure alignment with commercial, operational and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in fit‑out, project management or tenant coordination, preferably in malls, retail or commercial real estate.
• Proven experience managing tenant fit‑out processes within operational commercial environments.
