Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance will lead the finance functions across all Business Units, ensuring accurate and timely accounting, compliance with policies, and provision of reliable financial data to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain processes and controls for accurate transaction recording and policy compliance.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing cycles and meet financial reporting deadlines.
• Oversee taxation affairs, liaise with tax consultants and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Prepare three‑month cash‑flow forecasts and provide financial data for senior leadership decisions.
• Manage banking and borrowing arrangements, including covenant compliance.
• Supervise the company’s financial systems and all finance functions (AP, AR, tax, payroll, management accounting).
• Recruit, train, mentor and develop finance staff across Business Units.
• Track budgets, billing, collections and tax information, and keep finance policies up to date.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting certification (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including direct experience in hospital finance.
• At least 5 years of management experience.
• Experience in healthcare provider operations, especially billing and collections, is a plus.
