Health and Safety Supervisor

About the role

The Health and Safety Supervisor will act as the bridge between management and the workforce, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures across all work sites of Salehiya Healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise implementation of local HSE regulations and company policies.
• Guide teams to ensure compliance with safety instructions and requirements.
• Proactively monitor worksites, identify hazards, report them, and ensure corrective actions.
• Oversee availability and proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
• Ensure worker compliance with safety procedures and address violations.
• Supervise risk assessments for all worksites and activities.
• Coordinate inspection and maintenance of equipment safety.
• Lead periodic inspections of sites, emergency exits, and fire protection systems.
• Implement and continuously improve safety policies and plans.
• Supervise safety training programs, especially for new employees.
• Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive actions.
• Oversee safety reporting, recordkeeping, complaint handling, and workplace improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in HSE or occupational safety roles.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations.
• Strong expertise in occupational safety and health practices.
