Manager Tax & Compliance

About the role

The Manager Tax & Compliance will lead all tax affairs, regulatory compliance and day‑to‑day finance operations for the Esports Foundation in Riyadh. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role serves as the primary liaison with ZATCA and other Saudi regulatory bodies while ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting and strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage VAT registration, periodic filings, reconciliations and payments to ZATCA.
• Calculate and file Withholding Tax for payments to non‑residents.
• Monitor changes in Saudi tax legislation and assess impact on operations.
• Act as the main contact for ZATCA audits, inquiries and correspondence.
• Oversee e‑invoicing compliance (FATOORAH Phase 2) and align systems with ZATCA requirements.
• Support the Accounting Manager in GL, AP, AR, accruals and month‑end/year‑end closing from a tax and controls perspective.
• Prepare financial reports, tax schedules, reconciliations and statutory submissions.
• Maintain finance and tax documentation, procedures and audit trails.
• Identify tax risks, coordinate with external advisors and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Saudi tax law, ZATCA regulations and IFRS.
• Experience in managing VAT, Withholding Tax and e‑invoicing compliance.
• Proven ability to work with finance teams on GL, AP, AR and month‑end closing.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with internal stakeholders and external authorities.
