Mobile Threat Hunter & Digital Forensics Analyst

About the role

You will join a fast‑paced mobile‑security team to hunt for threats and conduct forensic investigations on iOS and Android devices. Working under senior consultants, you will gain hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge tools while helping clients detect, contain, and recover from mobile‑focused cyberattacks.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for signs of mobile compromise using threat intelligence, behavioral indicators, and log analysis.
• Develop, tune, and maintain detection logic and hunting queries for mobile threats such as MDM/MTD anomalies and policy violations.
• Support end‑to‑end incident response engagements, including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery of mobile devices.
• Perform forensic acquisition and analysis of iOS and Android devices to uncover indicators of compromise.
• Analyze suspicious mobile applications and malware to understand behavior and capabilities.
• Review logs from MDM/EMM platforms (e.g., Intune, Workspace ONE) and mobile threat defense tools.
• Reconstruct incident timelines from mobile artifacts and document findings in technical and executive reports.
• Contribute to playbooks, hunt methodologies, and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in incident response, digital forensics, or a related security role with exposure to mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android architectures, file systems, and security models.
• Strong interest in mobile security and a willingness to learn from senior mentors.
