Senior Finance Manager

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will lead the organization’s financial planning, reporting, budgeting and accounting functions. This role ensures compliance with regulations, provides strategic financial guidance to senior leadership, and supports business growth through rigorous analysis and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes across the company.
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor performance, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee accounting operations to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, tax rules and internal policies.
• Develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives and investments.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting cycle and periodic forecasts for all business units.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimise costs and improve financial performance.
• Manage external audits, tax filings and relationships with auditors, banks and regulators.
• Identify financial risks and implement effective internal controls and mitigation strategies.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to drive high performance.
• Provide executive management with financial insights, KPIs and strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s (MBA or Finance) preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or SOCPA highly preferred.
• 8‑10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, financial analysis, taxation and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar) preferred.
