Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join Egis’ finance team in Riyadh. The role will be responsible for overseeing financial aspects, internal controls and project accounting for a portfolio of engineering consultancy and design projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to Project Directors/Managers, providing financial, tax, accounting and costing insights to maximise profitability and improve working capital.
• Perform monthly assessments of project budgets, forecasts and business cases, identify financial risks and support decision‑making.
• Enhance project governance and controls together with finance and operational teams, ensuring high‑quality financial reporting and discipline.
• Manage critical financial tasks for assigned projects, including unbilled revenue tracking, receivables, cash‑flow monitoring, budgeting, forecasting and risk & change management.
• Support the ongoing implementation of Oracle ERP and act as a business partner to drive financial metrics and profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior finance controller or similar role in engineering, construction or consultancy environments.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, internal controls and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with project managers and senior stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP implementation projects, preferably Oracle ERP.
