Senior Project and Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to drive business development for landmark public art, cultural and tourism projects across the Middle East. The role blends commercial leadership with a deep appreciation for design, creativity and regional cultural nuances.

Key responsibilities

• Lead senior‑level business development across public art, cultural and tourism sectors.
• Manage and grow relationships with government entities, cultural institutions and other institutional clients.
• Identify new opportunities that align with creative, artisanal and architectural work.
• Own the pipeline and revenue targets, maintaining existing projects while building new relationships.
• Lead RFP and tender processes for public and institutional contracts.
• Collaborate closely with artists, curators, architects and technical delivery teams.
• Engage creatively around design intent, materials, finishes and aesthetics.
• Represent the business with cultural sensitivity and strong regional market understanding.

Required profile

• Proven senior business development experience in culture, tourism or public‑realm projects.
• Background in architecture, engineering or related technical disciplines (strongly preferred).
• Experience on bespoke, design‑led or artist‑driven projects.
• Deep understanding of business practices and stakeholder dynamics in Saudi Arabia.
• Comfortable engaging creatively with artists, designers and curators.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholders and long sales cycles.
• Collaborative, empathetic leadership style with a focus on teamwork.
• Based in the GCC with a desire to build a long‑term career in Saudi Arabia.
