Senior Project Risk Manager – Expo 2030 Riyadh

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a senior professional to lead the Project Risk Management (PRM) program for the Expo 2030 Riyadh infrastructure programme. The role will provide expert guidance, support and technical expertise to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring risk is identified, assessed and mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain an integrated risk management system aligned with project objectives.
• Lead risk identification workshops, risk register updates and quantitative risk analyses.
• Provide day‑to‑day risk guidance to project teams, contractors and client representatives.
• Report risk status and mitigation actions to the Project Controls Manager and senior leadership.
• Foster strong, trust‑based relationships with all stakeholders to ensure proactive risk communication.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in project risk management within large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence and drive risk‑focused decision making.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
