Special Systems Lead (KSIA)

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Special Systems Lead for the King Salman International Airport (KSIA) project in Riyadh. The role will head the systems engineering team responsible for delivering the technical, commercial and construction management aspects of three new airport terminals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of systems engineering personnel, estimating staffing needs and assigning work.
• Develop detailed engineering plans, schedules and work estimates for medium to large‑scale airport projects.
• Manage implementation, performance reporting and ensure delivery aligns with scope, schedule, budget and client requirements.
• Oversee systems engineering activities for Terminal 6, the Iconic Terminal and the Private Aviation Terminal, ensuring compliance with Bechtel and client standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate technical, commercial and construction management functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading systems engineering on complex infrastructure or airport projects.
• Strong ability to estimate staffing, schedule work and monitor performance.
• Excellent understanding of project management consultancy services, including technical, commercial and construction management.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multinational environment and deliver results to high quality standards.
