Store Development Specialist (Automotive)

About the role

AVATR is looking for a meticulous Store Development Specialist to lead the expansion of its premium automotive retail stores across the Middle East and Africa. You will bridge brand aesthetics with engineering realities, ensuring each new store meets global standards while adapting to local climate and consumer preferences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document construction standards and specifications tailored for the MEA market, addressing high temperatures, sand, and dust.
• Design store imagery and experience spaces that reflect the premium AVATR brand tone.
• Manage the full lifecycle of new store projects, from site selection and design through construction execution.
• Coordinate with local design teams, construction units, and suppliers, monitoring progress and quality to ensure timely delivery.
• Establish store acceptance checklists, lead final inspections, and support pre‑opening activities including staff training and material preparation.
• Implement regular operational inspections, supervise dealers, and conduct irregular on‑site checks to maintain consistent quality.
• Optimize store layouts, maintenance standards for high‑temperature equipment, and after‑sales service areas based on regional consumer insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering Management, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail store construction or project management, preferably within automotive 4S dealerships or premium brand stores.
• Deep understanding of the complete retail construction process, design principles, and brand image standards.
• Strong project management, cost control, and familiarity with construction acceptance standards.
• Fluent English and knowledge of MEA construction regulations, building codes, and local supplier markets.
• Willingness to travel long‑term for project‑based assignments.
