Associate / Principal Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Based in Riyadh, KSA, we are seeking an experienced Associate / Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and technical delivery for major multidisciplinary projects across the Middle East. The role focuses on developing, reviewing and coordinating mechanical designs to ensure robust, compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review mechanical designs from concept through detailed design and tender stages.
• Lead design activities and coordinate mechanical services with architectural, structural, electrical and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and technical submissions.

Required profile

• 12+ years of relevant mechanical engineering design experience, including consultancy work on medium to large‑scale building or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years of design experience in the Middle East, preferably on Saudi or GCC projects.
• Professional registration or chartership is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, heating, plumbing & drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and other mechanical design/calculation software.
• Familiarity with international standards, codes and Middle East regulations.
