Import/Export Specialist

About the role

Musco is seeking an Import/Export Specialist to lead freight carrier coordination and support the manufacturing team at its KSA facility in Dammam. The role focuses on planning, executing, and documenting import and export operations to ensure compliance and timely delivery of materials.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain purchase orders, managing inventory requests from request to shipment.
• Prepare accurate commercial documentation for all import and export shipments.
• Interpret country‑specific import/export requirements and generate necessary compliance paperwork.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop import and export strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with freight carriers and negotiate freight terms.
• Support Musco’s international entities with clear communication on material supply and project shipments.
• Review and approve international freight invoices for both inbound and outbound shipments.
• Provide freight quotes, tracking updates, and respond to carrier inquiries.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in import and export operations.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Office365 applications, especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
