Maintenance Technician II

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, perform, and document routine repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring all service requests meet Hawthorne standards.
• Repair and restore vacant apartments to make‑ready status for new move‑ins.
• Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance according to company policy.
• Perform daily building and common‑area upkeep, including grounds cleanliness and waste removal.
• Maintain shop organization for quick inventory assessment.
• Promote professional relations with residents, co‑workers, and vendors.
• Participate in on‑call emergency rotation and respond to after‑hours issues.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
• Execute special projects as assigned.
