Mechanical Engineer (Hybrid, Jiddah)

About the role

Golden International Contracting Company is seeking a full‑time Mechanical Engineer to join its Jiddah office. The position combines on‑site duties with flexible work‑from‑home days, supporting electromechanical projects across diverse sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze and optimise mechanical systems and components for electromechanical projects.
• Create and review detailed CAD models and technical drawings.
• Support machine and system design, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional project teams and assist in scheduling and resource planning.
• Participate in R&D activities, evaluate new technologies, materials and design approaches.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning phases.
• Prepare reports, maintain documentation and drive continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Strong foundation in machine design and mechanical systems analysis.
• Experience in project management and R&D within contracting, construction or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems, industry standards and safety regulations.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup and visit project sites as needed.
