Operations and Maintenance Director

About the role

The Science Park is looking for an experienced Operations and Maintenance Director to lead the comprehensive O&M of its multi‑tenant building and surrounding facilities. You will ensure that all infrastructure, services and environments operate safely, efficiently and meet the needs of tenants and partners such as KFUPM.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and enforce facility management policies and procedures.
• Oversee janitorial, landscape, electrical, general infrastructure, road and street‑light maintenance.
• Manage O&M of the multi‑tenant building, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire‑safety systems.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits and compliance checks.
• Prepare and control the facility management budget.
• Implement incident reporting, corrective actions and emergency response plans.
• Coordinate with KFUPM, tenants and contractors to address requests and maintain strong relationships.
• Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

• Proven ability to lead a team of facility professionals.
• Experience collaborating with university partners, tenants and external contractors.
