Principal Pipeline Engineer

About the role

Kellogg Brown & Root is seeking a Principal Pipeline Engineer to lead the design and engineering of transportation piping systems for large‑scale oil & gas and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on cross‑country, production, trunk, test and flow lines, ensuring compliance with ASME B31.4/B31.8 and other industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of up to 10 pipeline engineers and designers.
• Scope pipeline projects and define discipline deliverables.
• Develop work plans, basis of design documents, and estimate work‑hours.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
• Ensure design integrity, on‑schedule delivery and budget compliance.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to client representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in oil & gas, hydrocarbon or infrastructure pipeline design, including conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams on medium to large‑scale projects.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
