Procurement Manager

About the role

A leading contracting company in Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the procurement and contracts function for major construction projects. The role focuses on securing materials and services at optimal quality and cost while ensuring compliance with project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and project requirements.
• Manage procurement of all materials, services, and subcontractors.
• Prepare, review, and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate commercial and technical terms to achieve best value.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Supervise supplier evaluation, qualification, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate closely with project teams, technical office, finance, and warehouse departments.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Monitor procurement KPIs to drive cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management on procurement and contract activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of procurement and contract management experience in contracting companies.
• At least 8 years of experience in Saudi Arabia with recognized contracting firms.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi supplier market and contracting regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, decision‑making, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
