Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will manage the sourcing, purchasing and expediting of materials, equipment and services needed for EPC and industrial construction projects. The role ensures timely delivery at competitive cost while complying with project specifications and company procurement procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders for project materials and services.
• Source competitive quotations from approved vendors and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Expedite orders to align with project schedules and monitor delivery status.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor files and PO tracking logs.
• Coordinate with QC and warehouse teams to verify receipt against specifications.
• Support vendor evaluation and keep the approved vendor list up‑to‑date.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements.
• Assist with cost tracking, reporting and resolution of delivery discrepancies.
• Handle customs and import documentation when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience on EPC or industrial construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
