Reservations Supervisor

About the role

The Reservations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the reservations department, ensuring smooth booking operations and delivering exceptional service to guests and travel partners. You will lead a team of reservation agents and coordinators while collaborating closely with the Reservations Manager to drive room revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the reservations team, including agents and coordinators.
• Assist in implementing reservation strategies to optimise room revenue.
• Monitor and manage room inventory and availability across distribution channels.
• Ensure accurate and efficient booking processes for guests and travel partners.
• Utilise reservation management software and tools to manage bookings.
• Analyse booking trends, occupancy and revenue reports.
• Train and mentor the team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Address reservation‑related inquiries and concerns from guests and travel partners.
• Support group reservations and negotiate group rates when required.
• Prepare reservation reports and performance metrics.
• Participate in reservation‑related projects and initiatives.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, adhering to company EHS policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising reservation agents or similar hospitality staff.
• Familiarity with reservation management software and tools.
• Ability to analyse booking trends and revenue data.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Willingness to work safely and support environmental initiatives.
