About the role

The Room Service Manager oversees daily room‑service operations at The Ritz‑Carlton in Riyadh, ensuring high‑quality food and beverage delivery to guest rooms and suites. This entry‑level management position leads a team, maintains service standards, and supports overall guest satisfaction while managing the operating budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day‑to‑day room‑service activities, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance with hotel policies.
• Train, coach, and assist team members to meet service standards and handle guest requests efficiently.
• Monitor and control operating costs, ensuring budgetary targets are met.
• Communicate operational needs to staff, follow up on issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist other food‑and‑beverage outlets as needed to support overall hotel operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage or culinary experience, or a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 24 months of supervisory or management experience in a hospitality setting.
• Strong understanding of room‑service procedures, guest service standards, and budget management.
