SAP MM Functional Consultant

About the role

Alfanar Group is seeking an experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant to support the implementation and configuration of SAP MM, WM and LE modules. The role involves aligning business processes with SAP solutions, assisting procurement and inventory functions, and providing ongoing system support in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Configure enterprise structure, purchasing processes and plant parameters in SAP.
• Map and analyse current business processes and design To‑Be SAP solutions, including legacy system integration.
• Lead configuration activities for Greenfield and Brownfield projects, focusing on sourcing and procurement.
• Design and maintain procurement operations such as Purchase Orders, Subcontracting, Pricing Procedures and MRP.
• Manage inventory processes including Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, Transfer Postings and Physical Inventory.
• Utilise SAP tools (IDoc, BAPI, BDC, LSMW, FIORI apps) for data migration, integration and automation.
• Participate in requirement gathering, blueprinting, testing, training and go‑live support.
• Mentor junior consultants and produce comprehensive documentation and training material.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years (48 months) of hands‑on experience with SAP MM, WM or LE.
• Proven ability to configure SAP modules independently and support end‑to‑end procurement and inventory processes.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience working in manufacturing or trading environments is preferred.
