Senior Pipeline Engineer

About the role

KBR-AMCDE is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join its Saudi Arabia team. You will work on on‑shore and off‑shore oil & gas projects, applying state‑of‑the‑art design and project‑management practices to deliver reliable pipeline systems.

Key responsibilities

• Study, design, and specify pipeline routes, including layout selection and field surveys.
• Choose appropriate materials, coating systems, and cathodic protection methods.
• Develop leak‑detection strategies and design valve, terminal, and pump stations.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate installation techniques while ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Lead small project segments, manage budgets, and oversee performance appraisals.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
• Minimum 4 years of pipeline engineering experience; typical experience 6‑10 years.
• Professional competence to work independently and solve complex design challenges.
• Ability to lead a functional area on small projects or project segments.
