Senior Planner

About the role

Parsons Corporation is looking for a highly experienced Senior Planner to lead the development, implementation and management of complex project schedules for large‑scale infrastructure programmes in Saudi Arabia. The role combines strategic scheduling, risk mitigation and technical advisory to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fully integrated Master Project Schedules using Primavera P6 and other industry‑standard tools.
• Perform advanced critical‑path and forensic delay analyses, providing recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with Cost Engineering and Project Management to produce resource‑loaded schedules aligned with Earned Value Management metrics.
• Facilitate planning workshops with clients, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams to secure schedule buy‑in.
• Conduct quantitative schedule risk analysis and devise mitigation plans.
• Prepare executive summaries, dashboards and monthly progress reports on schedule variance and performance indicators.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to validate construction sequencing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in project planning for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff and work with senior leadership.
