Senior Telecommunications Engineer

About the role

Kellogg Brown & Root is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Engineer to lead the design, specification and delivery of communication systems across its projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves working with satellite, line‑of‑sight, fiber‑optic, telephone and public address systems, as well as data transmission from supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) networks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed design specifications for a variety of communication infrastructures.
• Coordinate the integration of satellite, fiber‑optic and line‑of‑sight links with existing SCADA systems.
• Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges, including conflicting design requirements and material limitations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and project cost‑control objectives.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering (Electrical, Telecommunications or related field).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with an average of 6‑10 years in telecommunications engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently under general supervision and make sound engineering judgments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills applied to complex system designs.
