Senior Urban Planner

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Urban Planner to join our award‑winning team in Riyadh. The role involves leading urban planning projects, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high‑quality plans and reports for clients and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Support Associate and Senior Associate Urban Planners in leadership and mentorship.
• Manage teams preparing land‑use plans, development policies, and master plans.
• Oversee preparation of zoning and development control regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
• Analyze economic, socio‑demographic, legal, political, cultural, physical and environmental factors affecting land use.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory requirements for development approvals and non‑objection certificates.
• Collaborate with internal disciplines and manage external sub‑consultants.
• Prepare and present urban plans and reports to clients and regulators.
• Develop technical and financial proposals for project opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience on large‑scale landscape or urban planning projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or related field.
• Professional certification or chartered status is highly regarded.
• Ability to handle confidential expressions of interest.
