Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor will lead on‑site fit‑out activities, ensuring that all works are carried out safely, on schedule and within budget while meeting the approved drawings, specifications and quality standards. This role requires close coordination with subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders to achieve a seamless execution and successful handover.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations, verify work against approved drawings and specifications, and conduct site surveys and set‑outs.
• Plan, organise and delegate tasks to foremen, chargehands and subcontractors, monitoring progress against the project schedule.
• Prepare detailed work programmes and schedules using MS Project and maintain daily site reports with progress updates and photographic records.
• Coordinate all trades (civil, joinery, MEP, finishes) and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, mall management, landlords and clients.
• Manage quality assurance and control, arrange inspections, raise and close snag lists and non‑conformance reports.
• Enforce health, safety and environment policies, conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Oversee material delivery, storage and usage, minimise waste and coordinate logistics and site access.
• Secure required work permits, obtain approvals from authorities and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Verify subcontractor quantities, support cost control and review timesheets and workforce allocation.
• Maintain project documentation, including drawings, RFIs, approvals and site instructions, and prepare hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction or fit‑out projects on site.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on safety, quality and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and method statements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Project for scheduling and programme management.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and inspection documentation (WIR, MIR, NCR).
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations on construction sites.
• Material logistics and inventory management.
