Strategy & Business Development Director

About the role

The Director of Business Development & Strategy will join the executive leadership team of a diversified Saudi holding group, reporting directly to the Group CEO. The role drives the definition, execution and monitoring of the group’s corporate strategy and leads transformation initiatives across subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the group’s corporate strategy in line with CEO and board directives.
• Translate the CEO’s vision into actionable roadmaps for the holding group and its subsidiaries.
• Oversee Balanced Scorecard and KPI frameworks to track strategy execution and performance.
• Identify strategic priorities, market trends and business risks, providing insights to the CEO.
• Source, evaluate and execute new business opportunities, partnerships and investments.
• Lead market research, feasibility studies and competitor analysis for expansion projects.
• Negotiate strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions to strengthen market position.
• Collaborate with subsidiary CEOs to align strategies, business plans, KPIs and governance.
• Facilitate communication between the CEO, executive team and subsidiary boards.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 120 months (10 years) of experience in strategy, business development and corporate transformation.
