Business Development Manager - Real Estate & Entertainment Parks

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm operating in 100 countries, is hiring a Business Development Manager in Riyadh. The role leads growth and investment initiatives in the real estate and entertainment park sectors, aligned with Vision 2030 objectives, combining business development, RFP/tender management and investment origination.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand entertainment and real estate projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality) and develop feasibility studies and business cases.
• Establish and manage strategic partnerships with developers, investors, operators and public-sector entities.
• Originate interest from local and international investors, lead joint venture discussions and negotiate co-development opportunities.
• Manage fundraising, including debt/equity placement, PPP structures and private placements, and set up funds and SPVs.
• Liaise with regulators such as the CMA to ensure compliance with investment and capital market laws, and prepare investor presentations, information memorandums and project teasers.
• Manage the full lifecycle of RFPs and tenders in line with Saudi government procurement rules, coordinate tender submissions and oversee bid evaluation and contract awards.
• Negotiate with investors, contractors, operators and government authorities, and build relationships with financial institutions, sovereign funds, private equity firms and family offices.
• Track KPIs on investor origination, JV partnerships, funds established, tender success rates and revenue pipeline, and report to executive management and government boards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Real Estate or a related field; MBA, MSc Finance or Real Estate, or PMP certification strongly preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in business development, corporate finance or investment management.
• Prior experience in government, real estate, PPP or entertainment sector projects required.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Fundraising, JV structuring, project finance, PPP frameworks and fund/SPV establishment.
• Knowledge of Saudi government RFP and tendering regulations (Etimad, Ariba, Oracle).
• Financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring and project finance documentation.
• Strong Power BI, MS Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to investment banking tools.
