Director of Residence – Saudi National

About the role

The Director of Residence will lead the complete homeowner and resident experience at Novotel Residences in Makkah, ensuring a high standard of hospitality and residential service in line with Novotel standards. This senior position requires a proactive, guest‑focused approach to create a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically manage the resident journey from pre‑move‑in through ongoing residency, establishing operational procedures and training programs.
• Oversee all residential operations, including maintenance, security, concierge, housekeeping, and common‑area amenities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners and residents, acting as the primary point of contact for all service‑related matters.
• Manage vendor contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance and value for money.
• Control the financial performance of the residential operation, preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and delivering regular financial reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years progressive experience in hospitality, residential or property management, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial or director role.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing teams and delivering service excellence in a high‑end hotel or residential environment.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget preparation, cost control and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
