Senior Technical Sales Engineer – Digital Solutions

About the role

ANDRITZ is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Sales Engineer to drive automation and digitalisation solutions across multiple industrial sectors. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating customer challenges into innovative digital solutions that improve performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and engineering throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
• Analyse customer requirements and design automation and digitalisation solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Provide technical support for product selection, system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and solution reviews.
• Support pre‑sales activities including quotations, proposals, bid responses, and customer visits.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to feed customer feedback into product enhancements and new offerings.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging technologies and growth opportunities.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and technical events as a subject‑matter expert.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in technical sales or solution engineering within automation/digital solutions.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
